The Everglades isn’t only a sanctuary for animals, for hundreds of years people have lived off the land. the Everglades has contributed millions of dollars annually to the Florida economy. If there is no freshwater there is no Everglades, and if there’s no Everglades Florida would suffer terribly. It is important that Floridians are aware of the dangers that threat this natural ecosystem, and understand just how important that freshwater truly is.
